Fairbanks, Alaska's second city has a long history as a location in the Tanana Valley, the heart of Athabascan Indian territory, and as the location of "America's Yukon" gold rush. Today, she is a leader in Arctic and Aurora research. Come explore her past and her present in this fascinating tour of Fairbanks' Museum of the North and the Morris Thompson cultural center as well as a stop by the Golden Heart Park for some pictures next to the Chena River at the heart of Fairbanks' "Old Town." See the statue of Alaska's "First Family" and make snow angels in the snow. Depending on opening hours at the Santa House, we may also make a stop there for photos and souvenir shopping. (The Santa Clause house is ONLY open on the weekend in the winter and the hours of operation are reduced.)

Hotel pick-up begins at 12 noon and tour ends at 6 pm.
