Fairbanks Alaska Travel

Fairbanks, Alaska is one of the best places in the world to see the aurora borealis and aurora borealis. It is an amazing sight, not to mention the perfect way to end a winter adventure in Alaska. Fairbanks is not only busy in the summer months, but in winter it is a perfect place to see the Northern Lights. Alaska has been on my list for some time and I finally made it to Fairbanks earlier this month. 240 days a year the lights are on in Fairbank, so this is a great place for an evening with friends and family.

Take a unique snow carriage ride at night and watch the magnificent Alaska Aurora Borealis show from your heated cabin in the Chena Hills. At Fairbanks Resort, you can admire the majestic Alaska Northern Lights with breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city of Fairbank.

Speaking of exceptional attractions, if you have the Northern Lights on your travel / grooming bucket list, you won't find a better place to see them than at the Fairbanks Resort. During your three days in the Fairbanks, you can visit some of the city's most popular attractions, but still have time for an Arctic Circle adventure.

If you need a little more excitement outside the city limits of Fairbanks, you can do it all with a trip to the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge in Anchorage, Alaska. If you prefer to start your Alaska winter tour or your vacation in Fairbank, the above tour (nl-06) will be offered in summer 2014.

If you have a little more time to budget, I suggest you consider staying at Borealis Basecamp if you are planning a trip to Fairbank. You can also visit the Aurora Ice Museum in the city of Fairbanks, as well as Chena Hot Springs, described as one of the most beautiful hot springs in North America. I also suggest spending a night at Kayaker's Cove to add a few adventurous days to your trip.
